Thomas, written out inside front and back covers, ‘Dunraven House, Treherbert, Glamorganshire’, front Xmas 88, back September 10th 1889. Contains transcription of Welsh language ballad, ‘Morgan Bach A’i Fam, yn Ymddiddan yn Nghych Myned i Australia’, originally published in 1801. Also contains address, in pencil, ‘Henry James & C[ompan]ie, 39 Rue Pasqu…, Hotel Muller, Paris’.
