PENPARCAU County Primary School

The 1847 "Blue Books" state that the school was established in 1834. There were 35 scholars and average attendance the previous year was 30. The 1905 report states that 'Penparke' school a National, non-provided school, was erected in 1846. There was accommodation for 218. In 1904 there were 104 on the books and average attendance was 76. In 1989 the infant and junior schools were combined to form Ysgol Llwyn yr Eos, Penparcau.
