MUS/508/1. Minute and Account Book of Bow Street and District National Savings Group. Although it is not a formal minute book, the secretary Mrs L. J. Smith kept notes on the setting-up and administration of the group.

MUS/508/2. Letter from the donor, Mr. J.H. Smith, describing the circumstances of the donation of the volume. Mr Smith was a member of staff at the Department of Agricultural Economics at UCW Aberystwyth 1934-1946 and lived in Bow Street with his wife. She became Secretary to the Bow Street National Savings Group during the war years and he discovered the volume amongst her papers after her death in November 1984.
