ADX/1756: Postcards and photographs

Acc.3986

Ref: ADX/1756

Reference: [GB 0212] ADX/1756
Date(s): c. 1906 - 1916, modern copies
Level: Fonds
Extent: 5 digital items
Scope and Content: Postcards and photographs relating to the Prince family. Although they were farmers, the family often went on excursions by train. Donor says the images are from a distant relative who doesn’t know anything about them. Adeline Rachel Prince did some voluntary work for the Red Cross; maybe she knitted socks for the soldiers. The postcard survived as Alice Prince had a collection of postcards. It of course predates WWI.
