Search tips
All number plates are entered in the format 'letters-space-numbers' e.g. EJ 3. Please make sure you maintain this format when searching by leaving a space between the letters and the numbers.
You may get more than one result per number, either for the same vehicle but a new owner, or for a different vehicle. In the earliest period, separate registration books were maintained for heavy goods vehicles, cars, and motorcycles, but they all used the same numbers. Thus, a lorry, a car, and a motorcycle could have the same number plate at the same time.
Unfortunately, the early HGV registration book for Ceredigion has not survived but the Ceredigion motor vehicle books are an unusually complete set of records which we are delighted to present in this searchable form for the first time!
